At this event IFS researchers will draw together the conclusions of a programme of research carried out over the last two years, which sheds light on individuals’ saving for retirement and how different sources of wealth are drawn on through retirement.

In particular, they will highlight factors that are crucial for policymakers and providers in the new environment of automatic enrolment into workplace pensions, DC pensions freedoms and Lifetime Individual Savings Accounts. This is a theme that will be expanded on with responses from a panel of experts drawn from across policy, industry and academia.

Registration will take place from 14:00 and the event will begin at 14:30.

There will also be a drinks reception following the event.

A full finalised programme of timings will be provided shortly.

The research and this event is funded by the IFS Retirement Saving Consortium and the Economic and Social Research Council.
